During my visit home, I took the opportunity to swing by my high school, River Forest to speak to the seniors just before graduation. My ad lib presentation included three themes: 1. My background graduating when the War in Iraq was starting in 2003. 2. Not to feel anxiety or pressure about what to do after they graduate and 3. How a bill REALLY becomes a law in the U.S. Senate via the hotline and unanimous consent process.
