In February of 2018, I attended the Menfluential Conference in Atlanta. Formerly known as Men’s Style Con, the event has morphed into a broader conversation. Some of the original presentations centered about digital marketing and how to start an online business. This year, there were panels on lifestyle, fitness and the like. I was fortunate enough to be asked by Aaron Marino (AlphaM) to participate on the men’s style panel. It was great to be moderated by Brock McGoff (The Modest Man) and sit alongside Ryan Magin (Handsome Guy Secrets) Tanner Guzy (Masculine Style), George Laboda (Gents Lounge) and Barron Quadro (Effortless Gent). On the panel, I was able to share my history on how I got into the menswear space along with my time running a menswear store.

While the conference is only a day and a half long, it’s a great opportunity to meet other people looking for self-improvement, business opportunities and the like. Hosts, Aaron Marino and Antonio Centeno (Real Men Real Style) are great guys to be around and are always interested in what others have to say. As a repeat guest, my ticket has been $150 and it’s $300 for new people. Given the cost of other conferences around the country, I think this one offers one of the best bangs for your buck.
